Taking Over was, for almost 15 years, the Italian Free Graff Zine of reference, strictly printed in black and white, because when the letters rock, the choice of colours is secondary. This collection is dedicated to Roberto Malpensa, aka Repo, one of the founders of Taking Over and a true Italian pioneer. From the first productions in Xerographic printing, to the latest releases in high definition Offset, the leitmotif has always been „Keeping it Real“, without compromise. The book contains the complete collection, from 2002 to 2015. In addition to the 15 issues reprinted in A4 format, there is a special unpublished edition dedicated to Repo, with all the best of its production from 1994 to 2014.

1207 – Portraits of Stockholm
€29.90€19.90Stockholm has been decorated by graffiti writers for more than twenty years. Now, for the first time, the people behind graffiti allow themselves to be portrayed. 1207 presents more than 50 of Stockholm’s most active and legendary graffiti writers. Photographer Torkel Sjöstrand has followed them and photographed them on their walks through the city for three years. From Spånga to Norsborg, Södertälje to Ekerö, suburb to inner city. In tunnels and on railroad tracks, or overlooking a magnificent vista of the city. Graffiti writers are fascinated by the places many people don’t notice.1207 is a document of a small group of people who risk their own well-being for an art form that is constantly pilloried by politicians and the authorities. We are offered a different depiction of Stockholm, and a unique document of its graffiti writers. Moreover, all the writers have written their tag in the book.1207 is the police code for destruction of property through graffiti. With an essay by Jacob Kimvall, art theoretician and an authority on graffiti.Foreword by Irok, Stockholm graffiti writer.

ZAR ZIP FLY ZORO
€32.00Die erste Schicht Graffiti in München

the first layer of graffiti in Munich
It is 1983 in Munich, the walls are gray and bare, marked only by a few political slogans and the odd declaration of love. Then, suddenly, abstract sign language, peculiar characters and cryptic combinations of letters begin to appear, their meaning a puzzle to all who chance upon them. The pieces begin to spread across the city and mark the start of the graffiti movement in Germany and throughout Europe. The photographic archives of attorney Konrad Kittl and Anthropology academic Peter Kreuzer reveal the first layer of graffiti in Munich: experiments with color and form, unprecedented and free from rules or preconceptions.
