Introtext of the artist
I often find myself reminiscing about graffiti. I have never particularly bothered about composing the classic blackbook, littered a plethora of sketches and photos. Quite early on I realised that by owning the aforementioned I was actually doing the police more of a favour than I was myself. Consequently, I adopted an approach of only compiling albums that purely focused on photos that spanned a certain period of significance in my journey. Those photos that fell outside that remit are safely stashed in a bunker somewhere inside the archetype photo bags typical amongst the graffiti fraternity. After my last analogue camera was retired to the furthest corner of my closet, any ambition I once possessed to file and categorise my vast collection of photos waned considerably anyway. With somewhat of a delay this book is my attempt to finally curate my entire collection of photos, which should hopefully give the reader a little insight into my development as a writer and display the personal milestones that I feel I have achieved. Creating a cross section of my personal segment within the graffiti universe, starting from the creation of my first piece onwards. Furthermore, it should show who I have taken this journey with and therefore will include passages where those of great significance in my journey divulge their side of the story.
