HRC (Hellraisers) is a graffiti crew formed in 1990 in Espoo, the western neighbour of Finland’s capital city, Helsinki. They were a strong and visible part of Espoo’s cityscape throughout that decade.

This is a story about a tight group of friends, as told by themselves and their friends. At the same time, it serves a glimpse into the early stages of graffiti in (and beyond) Espoo.
