Under this year’s theme „Comm:unity”, Calle Libre is commemorating its 11th festival edition. Over the years, we have observed how art in public spaces leaves traces of change in the quality of life for residents and visitors. It reshapes and uplifts, evolving these spaces into meeting points, strengthens identification with one’s own surroundings and thus enables the emergence of new initiatives within those neighborhoods. Public art, in this context, goes beyond aesthetics, and this year we invite everyone to place a strong emphasis on the power of art as a catalyst for positive social change within our communities.

Ein weiteres Kunstwerk von RoxS ziert die Eishalle (noen.at)
Der Waidhofner Spraykünstler RoxS war voriges Jahr auf Europatour in zehn Ländern und hat dabei 279 Spraydosen versprüht. Am 20. und 21. Juli verwandelt er die Wand der Eishalle Amstetten in ein weiteres Kunstwerk.
