This year, the sixth edition of the Calle Libre Festival for Urban Aesthetics addresses the theme of duality – complementary or even irreconcilable opposites. The duality of all things. Is everything in our worldview to be based on two original principles? Positive and negative, true and false, light and dark, material and immaterial?
Through an artistic approach, we explore the principle of duality and ask: isn’t the “world” as we know it, a complex overall structure including multiple perspectives, not just black and white ones? Everyone divides their world into differing states – he or she judges whether something is positive or negative. Reality is hence a creation of our intuition.
