Comm:unity
Under this year’s theme „Comm:unity”, Calle Libre is commemorating its 11th festival edition. Over the years, we have observed how art in public spaces leaves traces of change in the quality of life for residents and visitors. It reshapes and uplifts, evolving these spaces into meeting points, strengthens identification with one’s own surroundings and thus enables the emergence of new initiatives within those neighborhoods. Public art, in this context, goes beyond aesthetics, and this year we invite everyone to place a strong emphasis on the power of art as a catalyst for positive social change within our communities.
