Der 91-jährig verstorbene Richard Lugner war offenbar auch bei jungen Menschen beliebt. Ein Graffiti-Künstler hat den Baulöwen mit einem Bild am Donaukanal bei der legendären Disco Flex verewigt. „RIP Mörtel“ (Ruhe in Frieden) ist auf dem Bild zu lesen. Neben einem Porträt von Lugner steht „SPEAK“ („sprich“ auf Englisch).

City skylines, human figures, and even the household cat are reimagined using new materials and mediums such as hand-cut stamps. The legendary Skewville custom rollers that once bombed New York City streets for over a decade also makes an appearance, bridging the gap between the past and present. In this new body of work, DeVille channels the simplicity of his childhood while still expressing the inner complexity of life and the medium between the two.
